1. Introduction
Welcome to ChoctoTip, a Discord tip bot that allows users to send and receive cryptocurrency tips within Discord servers. By using ChoctoTip, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before interacting with the bot.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use ChoctoTip.
2. Eligibility
By using ChoctoTip, you confirm that:
- You are at least 13 years old or meet the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service.
- You comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding cryptocurrency use.
- You have the legal authority to manage digital assets and consent to transactions performed through the bot.
3. Bot Usage
a. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ChoctoTip in a lawful and respectful manner. You will not:
- Use the bot to engage in fraud, scams, or illegal activities.
- Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage.
- Spam or abuse the tipping system.
- Use ChoctoTip to promote or fund unlawful organizations or activities.
b. Discord Compliance
ChoctoTip operates in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Violations may result in bans, blacklisting, or data removal at the discretion of the ChoctoTip team.
4. Cryptocurrency Transactions
a. User Responsibility
You are fully responsible for any cryptocurrency transactions initiated through ChoctoTip. Transactions are irreversible once submitted to the blockchain.
b. Wallets and Balances
- Each user may have an associated wallet or balance within ChoctoTip.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- ChoctoTip does not store or control your private keys unless explicitly stated (e.g., custodial wallets).
- We are not responsible for losses resulting from user error, compromised accounts, or third-party service issues.
c. Transaction Fees
Network or service fees may apply to cryptocurrency transactions. These are determined by blockchain conditions and not by ChoctoTip. ChoctoTip deposits and withdrawals may add on an associated token account fee that is determined from the blockchain and is the responsibility of the user to pay to deposit or withdraw funds from Choctotip. This fee is calculated and determined from the block hash that the on chain transaction will be sent on. ChoctoTip reserves the right to close the associated token account of deposited funds and recover the base currency from the unique wallet that ChoctoTip provides for users to deposit funds to ChoctoTip. These funds are added to the ChoctoTip Hot wallet to cover ChoctoTip expenses up to and including, development fees, blockchain fees and costs of doing business.
ChoctoTip takes a small withdrawal development fee for all withdrawals from ChoctoTip to any on-chain wallet. This withdrawal fees are shown in the withdrawal embed before accepting the Withdrawal.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a. No Financial Advice
ChoctoTip does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. All tips, balances, and assets are handled at your own risk.
b. Service Availability
We strive to keep ChoctoTip operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The bot may experience downtime, maintenance, or unexpected errors.
c. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- ChoctoTip and its developers are not liable for any loss of funds, data, or damages arising from the use of the bot.
- Use of the bot is "as is" and at your own risk.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of ChoctoTip is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use your information. By using ChoctoTip, you consent to the practices described in that policy.
7. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ChoctoTip without notice if:
- You violate these Terms or Discord's policies.
- You engage in malicious or fraudulent activity.
- Continued service becomes impractical due to legal, technical, or security concerns.
You may stop using ChoctoTip at any time by removing the bot from your server or ceasing all interactions with it.
8. Modifications to the Service
ChoctoTip may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top.
Continued use of ChoctoTip after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
